Stray Kids’ “Run It” Tour Plagued by Stage Safety Concerns
Stray Kids are currently on their Run It tour, and kicked off the Japanese leg on August 29 with the first of two dates in Tokyo. The excitement was palpable as STAYs gathered to witness their beloved idols perform.
During the show, however, several accidents took place, casting a shadow over what should have been a night of celebration. Fans quickly noted alarming instances of members slipping and falling, raising serious questions about stage safety.
Lee Know appeared to slip and fall during the group’s intense performance of “Ceremony,” landing hard on his upper body. The sight was distressing, as he attempted to get up more than once, clearly struggling. Fellow member Bang Chan, ever the leader, immediately rushed over to check in on him, but Lee Know ultimately had to go back down on a knee, indicating significant discomfort.
The crowd held its breath, hoping it was an isolated incident.
However, it soon became apparent that the stage conditions themselves were a major contributing factor.
The idol fell once again during their dynamic performance of “Run It,” landing on his back this time. He was seen holding his back as he walked to another part of the stage, a clear sign of ongoing pain and discomfort for the main dancer.
Multiple Members Affected by Hazardous Stage
But Lee Know wasn’t the only member affected by the hazardous stage. Indeed, the stage appeared to be dangerously wet and slippery, making it incredibly difficult for the group to perform their powerful choreography without slipping. Both Changbin and Felix were also seen falling during other songs, adding to the growing concern among concertgoers. Some fans present at the venue also reported that Seungmin, known for his stable vocals, lost his footing while performing.

The alarming incidents didn’t stop there. Bangchan also was said to have fallen down at some point during the chaotic performances, resulting in a visible cut on his arm that bled. This compounded the worry, as the leader himself was now injured.
STAYs Demand Better Safety After Lee Know’s Hospital Visit
The immediate aftermath saw members providing updates, but fan worries only escalated. While Bangchan quickly shared that the cut was small on his arm, attempting to reassure fans, the severity of the situation became even clearer when Lee Know updated that he was taken to the hospital after the show…

The outpouring of concern from the fandom highlights the deep bond between Stray Kids and STAY. The safety of artists should always be paramount, and such preventable incidents are simply unacceptable. Hopefully, the members recover quickly and fully from any injuries that may have happened. More importantly, fans are calling for stricter safety protocols and better precautions to be taken by event organizers in all future concerts, ensuring such a distressing situation does not happen again.
