It was recently announced that Japanese actor Sakaguchi Kentaro would be getting married.
On September 6, Sakaguchi personally announced through his paid fan club that he had married a non-celebrity woman whom he had been dating. His agency subsequently confirmed the marriage to Japanese media.
With this news, the actor’s past dating history and related scandals have resurfaced.
Sakaguchi Kentaro’s Resurfaced Dating Allegations
In September 2025, an expose by the Japanese outlet Shukan Bunshun shared claims about Sakaguchi’s alleged relationship. It was reported that Kentaro Sakaguchi is allegedly dating a 3-year-older hairstylist, who reportedly lives with him in his Tokyo apartment, and that they have been dating for 4 years.

The outlet later alleged that Sakaguchi was dating the hairdresser, but at the same time implied some sort of relationship between the actor and actress Mei Nagano while the relationship was ongoing.
Nagano and Sakaguchi previously worked together on various projects, and are both PRADA ambassadors.
At the time, Mei Nagano was also allegedly involved in a love triangle with a married man.
These allegations have resurfaced with the news of his marriage.
