YG Entertainment is embarking on an exciting global quest, launching its highly anticipated global audition tour for the first time in two years. The company officially announced Wednesday that its expansive 2026 YG Global Audition will span an ambitious five-month period, running from July through December, scouting talent across numerous countries and continents.
Worldwide Search: Audition Locations & Schedule
The grand tour has already kicked off with a bang in Beijing on Sunday, setting the stage for what promises to be an intense and thrilling search. Following its initial stop, the audition caravan will move to Chengdu, China, on Saturday, then make its way to Shanghai on Aug. 1 and both Shenzhen and Tokyo on Aug. 9. Japan will host another stop in Osaka on Sept. 20.
Expanding its reach even further, the tour will then broaden into the United States throughout October, followed by critical stops in Taiwan and Hong Kong. The journey continues in November with auditions scheduled for Thailand and Canada, before concluding its global search in Australia and New Zealand in December.

This extensive outreach means that applicants of any nationality are welcome, provided they were born between 2008 and 2015. Candidates have the flexibility to audition in one primary category: singing, rap, dance, or visual.
