Toronto has begun installing temporary “BTS Boulevard” signs along Yonge Street in North York ahead of BTS’ sold-out concerts this weekend. This incredible initiative transforms a major city thoroughfare into a vibrant tribute to the global K-Pop phenomenon.

A total of 20 striking black-and-red signs, proudly featuring the iconic branding of BTS’ highly anticipated “Arirang” tour, are being strategically placed. These special signs will remain a beacon of ARMY pride, gracing the streets through September 23rd, giving fans plenty of time to soak in the atmosphere and capture those unforgettable moments.

This heartwarming gesture wasn’t just a spontaneous idea; it’s the result of dedicated efforts, following a motion courageously introduced by Councillor Lily Cheng in July, which subsequently received enthusiastic approval from the City Council. It’s a testament to the immense cultural impact and fan dedication that BTS inspires worldwide, now officially recognized and celebrated by a major North American city.

The timing couldn’t be more perfect! BTS is set to electrify Rogers Stadium in Toronto this Saturday and Sunday with their highly anticipated “Arirang” tour performances, both completely sold out – a true testament to their unparalleled global appeal. Adding to the festive atmosphere, these landmark concerts beautifully coincide with the Korean Harvest Festival at Mel Lastman Square in North York. This event is proudly billed as Canada’s largest Korean cultural festival, making this weekend a grand celebration of Korean heritage, music, and community spirit. Toronto is truly turning purple for BTS!
