Stray Kids’ Lee Know Donates to Nepal Flood Relief, Continues Philanthropic Legacy

Lee Know of the K-pop boy band Stray Kids donated 100 million won (about $72,000) to support relief efforts for people displaced by severe flooding in Nepal, his management agency, JYP Entertainment, said Monday.

The heartfelt donation, delivered on August 28 to World Vision, an international humanitarian and development NGO, came with a clear purpose: to save the lives of children and families affected by the devastating floods and assist them in sustaining their livelihoods. The funds will be critical for providing immediate food and nutrition assistance, temporary housing, clean water, and vital sanitation programs to flood-affected residents.

In a statement released through JYP Entertainment, Lee Know expressed his sincere wishes: “I hope my gesture can offer even a small bit of strength to those going through a difficult time.” He added, “I sincerely hope that both those displaced and everyone working on relief efforts can return to peaceful daily life as soon as possible.” His words reflect a profound compassion that consistently resonates with fans.

This significant contribution earned him the distinction of becoming the youngest member of World Vision’s prestigious Bob Pierce Honor Club, a group recognizing donors who have cumulatively given at least 100 million won, named after the organization’s founder.

Lee Know’s wide-ranging support was further demonstrated in 2025, when he donated a combined 200 million won. These substantial funds were directed to Samsung Seoul Hospital, covering essential treatment and caregiving costs for adult patients with severe illnesses and pediatric patients, and also to Nabiya Saranghae, a dedicated cat rescue group – a gesture that undoubtedly warms the hearts of his feline-loving fans.
