Son Na Eun Reveals Why She Missed Bomi’s Wedding
Former Apink member Son Na Eun has finally offered clarity regarding her notable absence from fellow group member Yoon Bomi’s wedding, addressing fan speculation head-on. The actress, who recently concluded her successful run in the SBS Friday-Saturday drama ‘Agent Kim Reactivated,’ shared the reasons during an interview on July 29.
Son Na Eun explained, “We were in the final stages of filming the drama, and I also had overlapping schedules, so I couldn’t attend the wedding.” This straightforward explanation aims to dispel any lingering doubts or rumors that have circulated since Bomi’s private ceremony in May.
A Love for Apink That Never Fades
Despite her inability to attend, Son Na Eun emphasized her unwavering affection for her former group. “Apink is a precious team with whom I spent my teens and twenties. Whenever something good happens to the members, I sincerely want to congratulate them, and my support for them as a fan has never changed,” she shared, reiterating her deep bond with the members.

Beyond her past as an idol, Son Na Eun also spoke candidly about her current journey and mindset as a full-time actress. She expressed gratitude for her roots, saying, “Being a former idol is a valuable part of my journey that made me who I am today, and I’m grateful for it. Bomi’s wedding to composer Rado was a private affair held at the Grand Hyatt Seoul in Yongsan, Seoul, earlier this May. It was a heartwarming gathering that saw Apink members Chorong, Eunji, Namjoo, and Hayoung in attendance, alongside former member Hong Yoo Kyung, who departed the group in 2013. Son Na Eun’s absence from this significant event had been a key point of discussion among fans.
Over the years, Son Na Eun has been the subject of repeated rumors regarding her relationship with the other members since leaving Apink. Speculation previously arose in 2022 when she couldn’t participate in the group’s 10th-debut anniversary promotions, a matter she personally addressed at the time.
