SEVENTEEN Makes History with Four Million-Certified Albums in Japan

SEVENTEEN’s compilation album, “Always Yours,” released in 2023, has officially accumulated an incredible 1 million shipments as of July, earning a prestigious “million” certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ). This amazing feat places “Always Yours” alongside their blockbuster 10th EP “FML,” 11th EP “Seventeenth Heaven,” and their debut Japanese EP “Dream,” all of which have also achieved million certifications. What makes this even more significant is that SEVENTEEN is now the *first-ever K-pop artist* to secure four “million” certifications in the country, a testament to their enduring popularity and the dedication of their Japanese fanbase. This groundbreaking achievement was announced on Monday.

Upcoming Military Enlistments for Mingyu, Seungkwan, and Dino Announced

Amidst the celebrations, Pledis Entertainment also shared updates regarding several members’ upcoming military enlistments. Mingyu is set to begin his service as a social service agent on September 10. Following this, Seungkwan and Dino will enlist together as members of the Army marching band on October 26. Jeonghan is scheduled to complete his service in June 2025, while Wonwoo, Hoshi, and Woozi are currently fulfilling their duties.
