A few days ago, when ADOR released a teaser of NewJeans’ upcoming comeback, Park took to his social media and criticized its direction and aesthetic.

With his initial commentary quickly becoming a hot topic across K-Pop communities, Park has now escalated his strong stance against HYBE in a new, equally pointed post. On July 23, KST, he shared a story on Instagram, where he candidly slammed the conglomerate’s handling of its ongoing conflict with the NewJeans members. He notably labeled the involved stakeholders as “childish” and “embarrassing,” expressing deep concern over the situation.

Since we’re on the subject, I wonder if this will make the news too? Please let it get covered. I find it absolutely disgusting how HYBE, a major conglomerate in the K-Pop industry, conducts itself. If you’ve taken the formative years of these minors under the guise of ‘training’… seriously, is that how adults are supposed to act? Bunch of childish b*stards. If you’re going to make money off kids and build a business around them, the least you could do is act like responsible adults. I find them pathetic.

He called out HYBE’s treatment of the NewJeans members in detail, clarifying that he didn’t care about either Bang Si Hyuk or Min Hee Jin, emphasizing his focus on the artists themselves.

You’re going to “set an example” for the entertainment industry by crushing people with money and lawsuits? Give me a break. What a load of bullsh*t. I couldn’t care less about Min Hee Jin or Bang Si Hyuk. That’s none of my business. But targeting a young person and trying to destroy them—how is that justice? It’s unbelievably idiotic. There should be a limit. HYBE is seriously disgusting. I hope this gets reported widely! These morons don’t know how to act like adults.

Meanwhile, adding more fuel to the discussions, a music director who previously collaborated with NewJeans has also reportedly stirred up conversation with their supposed reaction to NewJeans’ highly anticipated upcoming comeback.
