Meeting global superstars can be a memorable experience, and two Korean celebrities, Muzie and Ahn Jae Hyun, recently shared their unique encounters with the world-renowned group BTS. Their candid stories, revealed on the YouTube channel Alddal Cham, offer a glimpse into the charm and professionalism of the K-pop idols.
The revelations came to light on August 18th in a video titled “Season 3 The Unfinished Meddling.”
Muzie’s Hilarious BTS Mix-Up
During the broadcast, entertainer Muzie recounted a particularly amusing and slightly embarrassing incident involving BTS. He began, “There was an incident where I felt quite sorry to BTS and felt a bit embarrassed.” Muzie elaborated on meeting some BTS members at a post-wedding party for a mutual acquaintance. “There was a post-wedding party for someone we both knew. At that time, BTS were global superstars,” he explained, adding, “But until then, I hadn’t really memorized the members’ faces.” Despite BTS’s immense worldwide popularity, Muzie admitted he couldn’t accurately distinguish individual members. He humorously recalled, “I was having a glass of wine when Jin came over. So, I said, ‘Haven’t you guys become too famous?’ Then he kindly replied, ‘No, have a good time,’ and walked away.”

However, a comical mix-up was soon revealed: the member Muzie thought was Jin was actually V. Muzie confessed, “I didn’t realize it was V and said, ‘Oh, Jin,’ and I felt really sorry about that. But V didn’t correct me and just walked away. Maybe he thought there was no need,” a revelation that brought laughter from the show’s hosts.

Ahn Jae Hyun Recalls BTS’s Rookie Kindness
Following Muzie’s entertaining anecdote, actor Ahn Jae Hyun shared his own heartwarming memory of the BTS members. Ahn recalled their early days, stating, “They used to be at the same salon as me a long time ago. Even when they were rookies, they greeted me very politely.” He further praised their respectful demeanor, continuing, “Usually, if you’re not in the same field, you don’t greet each other much, but they came to me first and said, ‘Hello, hyung,’ and I still remember that,” highlighting their consistent kindness and humility from the very beginning of their careers.
