Monbebe, get ready! K-Pop powerhouse Monsta X is making a highly anticipated comeback, with their agency Starship Entertainment announcing the release of their 14th EP, “The Phase,” set to drop on September 4. This exciting news comes as the beloved group continues to celebrate a decade in the industry, promising fans another captivating musical journey.
The announcement was accompanied by a mesmerizing teaser video featuring gleaming particles, subtly hinting at an expansion of the enchanting light-themed narrative that has been central to their ongoing concert tour, “The X: Nex Us.” Fans are already speculating how “The Phase” will weave new layers into this visually stunning and emotionally resonant concept.
Celebrating 10 Years: Tour Continues Without I.M
As Monsta X commemorates its 10th year together, their celebratory “The X: Nex Us” tour is far from over. The North American leg is set to resume in October, kicking off in Fairfax, Virginia. Five of the six talented members will embark on this extensive tour, hitting 10 cities and bringing their electrifying performances to Monbebe across the continent. Notably, member I.M will not be joining this leg of the tour, having bravely enlisted with the military in February. The group has assured fans that they are working hard to deliver unforgettable stages in his absence, eager for his return.
Building on Billboard Success
“The Phase” marks Monsta X’s first mini album in a year, following the success of their previous EP, “The X.” That six-track set made history, entering the prestigious Billboard 200 chart at an impressive No. 31. This was a monumental achievement for the group, marking their first album released in Korea to make the main albums chart, and their third overall to achieve such global recognition. With such a strong precedent, expectations are soaring for “The Phase” to continue their streak of groundbreaking music and chart-topping success.
