This upbeat track, with its undeniably catchy hook and fierce lyrics about untamed instinct, is a highly anticipated preview from the group’s upcoming third EP, “Wild,” set to drop on August 14th. Fans are already buzzing about the powerful sound and concept that “Animal” brings to the table, showcasing KATSEYE’s growing prowess in the global music scene.

HYBE Powerhouse and Chart Longevity

But the HYBE power doesn’t stop there! The dynamic collaboration single “Iconic By Mistake,” featuring KATSEYE alongside fellow HYBE girl groups LE SSERAFIM and ILLIT, continues its impressive chart run, now extending to seven consecutive weeks. While it saw a slight dip of two places to No. 76 this week, its longevity is a testament to the immense popularity and synergy of these incredible artists.

K-Pop Idols Dominate Across Billboard Charts

Beyond the HYBE family, K-pop idols are dominating the charts. BLACKPINK’s Jennie is holding strong at No. 6 with her absolutely captivating collaboration “Dracula,” featuring the Australian act Tame Impala. This track continues to prove Jennie’s versatility and global appeal as a solo artist. And of course, the Kings of K-pop, BTS, are also making their presence felt across the Billboard charts! The supergroup logged two tracks on the Hot 100, with the mesmerizing “Swim” landing at No. 82 and the compelling “Normal” at No. 89. Over on the prestigious Billboard 200 main albums chart, BTS’s highly acclaimed fifth studio album, “Arirang,” secured a remarkable No. 15 spot. Not only that, but the soundtrack for the global Netflix hit animated film “KPop Demon Hunters” also made a strong showing, ranking at No. 29, highlighting K-pop’s expanding influence across various entertainment mediums. Boy group CORTIS also made waves, with their album “GREENGREEN” charting at No. 114, proving the depth of talent within the K-pop landscape. KATSEYE / Courtesy of HYBE
