Hong Min Ki Agency Denies Abortion Claims, Pursues Legal Action

Actor Hong Min Ki and his agency, Fable Company, are taking a firm stance against his ex-girlfriend ‘A’s latest allegations of pressured pregnancy termination. Following earlier claims of dating violence, the controversy surrounding Hong Min Ki continues to escalate, with his agency now denying the new allegations with strong evidence and announcing immediate plans for civil and criminal legal action.

Agency Firmly Denies Pregnancy Termination Allegations

On August 20, Fable Company released its second official statement, firmly denying the allegation that Hong Min Ki pressured ‘A’ to have an abortion.

“Contrary to A’s claims, the actor absolutely never made any statement to ‘A’ with the intent of pressuring her to have an abortion,” the agency stated.

Previously, ‘A’ claimed that she discovered she was pregnant in July while dating Hong Min Ki and alleged that he told her, “You’re going to get an abortion, right? Go get it done tomorrow.” She also claimed that she later went to a hospital alone and underwent a pregnancy termination procedure.

In response, the agency stated that Hong Min Ki had never seen A’s pregnancy test and had never asked her to terminate the pregnancy.

Ultrasound Image Verification & Disputed Timeline

Fable Company has gone further, challenging the very evidence presented by ‘A’. The agency explained, “At around 6 AM on August 19, 2026, ‘A’ sent the actor an ultrasound image along with the message, ‘Shut your mouth before I expose this too.’ Before that, she had never shown the actor an ultrasound image like this.”

The agency continued, “The ultrasound image also differs from images typically used to show a pregnancy. Therefore, we have asked obstetrics and gynecology medical professionals to verify the ultrasound image A sent and plan to submit it as evidence.”

The agency also disputed A’s account of when she allegedly underwent the pregnancy termination procedure.

The agency claimed, “On July 13, the day A claims she underwent the pregnancy termination procedure, ‘A’ suggested to the actor that they go cycling together. After the actor declined, she personally sent him a video of herself riding a bicycle alone,” and added, “We have secured and retained both the relevant conversation and the video.”

Fable Company Announces Strict Legal Action Against False Claims

Fable Company emphasized that “pregnancy and pregnancy termination are extremely sensitive and serious matters.”

“Nevertheless, A publicly posted completely false claim on social media, including that the actor learned of her pregnancy and then pressured her to have an abortion. As a result, the actor has once again suffered serious damage to his reputation and image that will be difficult to recover from,” the agency stated.

It continued, “We will no longer respond by repeatedly rebutting the other party’s false claims.”

“Based on the evidence we have secured thus far, we will immediately proceed with the necessary civil and criminal legal procedures so that the facts surrounding this matter can be clearly established,” the agency said.

It added, “We respectfully ask that people refrain from indiscriminate speculation and the further dissemination and reproduction of unverified claims, as this could cause additional harm not only to the actor but to everyone involved in the matter.”

The following is the full second statement from Hong Min Ki’s agency:

Hello, this is Fable Company.

We would like to share our position regarding the additional posts publicly shared by ‘A’ concerning our agency’s actor, Hong Min Ki.

In her additional posts, A claimed that she discovered she was pregnant while dating the actor and underwent a pregnancy termination procedure. She also stated that she possesses medical records and ultrasound images to support her claims.

At around 6 AM on August 19, 2026, ‘A’ sent the actor an ultrasound image along with the message, ‘Shut your mouth before I expose this too.’ However, prior to this, A had never shown the actor an ultrasound image of this kind. The ultrasound image also differs from images typically used to show a pregnancy. Therefore, we have asked obstetrics and gynecology medical professionals to verify the ultrasound image A sent and plan to submit it as evidence.

Furthermore, after confirming the matter with the actor, we learned that ‘A’ had never shown him a pregnancy test. Contrary to A’s claims, the actor absolutely never made any statement to ‘A’ with the intent of pressuring her to have an abortion.

Furthermore, on July 13, the day ‘A’ claims she underwent a pregnancy termination procedure, ‘A’ suggested to the actor that they go cycling together. After the actor declined, she personally sent him a video of herself riding a bicycle alone. We have secured and retained both the relevant conversation and the video.

Unraveling the Initial Conflict: Dating Violence & Stalking Claims

The conflict between Hong Min Ki and ‘A’ first came to light on August 19, when ‘A’ posted images of a formal legal notice she had sent to Hong Min Ki and his agency on social media. ‘A’ alleged that Hong Min Ki had assaulted her and engaged in threatening behavior during their relationship. The legal notice reportedly included allegations that Hong Min Ki threw a soju bottle at her on the street, causing it to break, as well as hitting, pushing, and grabbing her by the neck.

Hong Min Ki’s side subsequently denied the allegations, claiming that the two broke up because of trust issues during their relationship and that ‘A’ repeatedly contacted him afterward, asking to get back together. The agency also alleged that ‘A’ repeatedly made unwanted visits to Hong Min Ki’s home and his family’s residence, and announced plans to pursue legal action related to stalking.

‘A’ denied those claims, stating, ‘It is not true that I went to his home and asked him to get back together.’ She continued, ‘I only asked for a minimum level of an apology, and I do not believe this kind of secondary victimization is right.’

‘A’ later made additional claims concerning pregnancy and pregnancy termination. She alleged that she discovered she was pregnant using a pregnancy test at Hong Min Ki’s home around July 11 and claimed that she underwent a pregnancy termination procedure at his request. She also stated that she had retained medical records and ultrasound images.

‘A’ also indicated that she intended to take legal action, claiming that Hong Min Ki’s side was attempting to portray her as the perpetrator of stalking. Hong Min Ki’s side has likewise maintained that the contents A made public are inconsistent with the facts, leaving the two sides sharply divided over their respective claims.
