Summary Fine and Formal Trial Request

Rapper E Sens is currently facing a summary fine of 5 million won (approximately $3,400 USD) on charges of forcible molestation. However, the 39-year-old musician has strongly objected to this order, formally requesting a full trial to present his side of the story and challenge the allegations.

The Allegations Unveiled

According to local media reports, the incident in question allegedly occurred in August 2025 at a nightclub in Itaewon, Seoul. Prosecutors claim E Sens forcibly molested a woman in her 30s whom he had just met for the first time. The accusations detail that despite the woman expressing her refusal, E Sens allegedly continued making physical contact, attempted to kiss her, and is also accused of biting her neck and engaging in other unwanted physical contact.

The Seoul Southern District Court initially issued the summary order last month. E Sens’s prompt objection has now escalated the case, sending it to a full hearing for comprehensive review.

E Sens’s Vehement Denial

In a detailed statement posted on his social media platform on Thursday, E Sens vehemently denied all allegations. He stated that he met the complainant and her companions at the nightclub, where they engaged in drinking, dancing, and exchanged phone numbers in what he described as a “natural atmosphere.”

He emphasized, “The physical contact in question took place with mutual consent in a natural atmosphere. There was no force, violence or intimidation involved, and I never attempted any inappropriate physical contact against the other person’s will.”

E Sens further explained that he left the nightclub alone about an hour after arriving and had no subsequent contact with the woman. He also mentioned that the complainant’s side contacted him in December, alleging sexual assault and demanding an apology. E Sens claims he refused to apologize, believing the allegations were false, which then led to the filing of a criminal complaint against him.

Next Steps in the Legal Battle

The first hearing for this significant and closely watched case is officially scheduled for September 2 at the Seoul Southern District Court. Fans and industry observers will be closely monitoring the proceedings as more details emerge from the formal legal process.
