V Reveals Hearing Problem and Ongoing Treatment
Kim Tae-hyung, known to fans as V, disclosed that he is currently undergoing hospital treatment for a hearing issue affecting his right ear. He revealed that this problem began approximately two and a half years ago and has not fully recovered since. V shared these details during a casual livestream meal with fellow member Jungkook after their recent performances.

V further elaborated on the severity of his condition, stating, “If my left ear can hear 100 percent, my right ear is at just 30 percent.” He assured fans that he is regularly taking medication and visiting the hospital for treatment, demonstrating his commitment to managing the condition while continuing his demanding schedule.
Jungkook Battles Shin Injury Amidst World Tour
Fellow member Jungkook also shared his struggles, detailing an injury near his shin. He described it as “being on the verge of a stress fracture,” noting significant inflammation and potential micro-damage to the bone. Jungkook expressed his frustration, explaining how the pain had forced him to hold back his usual energetic stage presence during the recent Baltimore shows. He asked for fans’ understanding and assured them of his intention to manage the injury carefully to successfully complete the remainder of the “Arirang” world tour.
