BIGBANG is making history by literally heading towards the cosmos, announced as the first-ever promotional ambassador for South Korea’s space agency, the Korea AeroSpace Administration (KASA). According to YG Entertainment on August 14 KST, this groundbreaking appointment marks the first time KASA has selected an ambassador since its launch in 2024.

The first phase of this initiative kicks off with a special micro-website opening at 10 AM KST on August 14, commemorating BIGBANG’s 20th anniversary. V.I.Ps worldwide are invited to submit cherished memories and messages about their journey with the group. These heartfelt submissions will then undergo a unique transformation into coded images, inspired by the historic Arecibo message. In an astonishing feat, these coded memories will be placed aboard the fifth Nuri launch vehicle, set to journey into space – literally sending fans’ precious moments with BIGBANG beyond Earth’s atmosphere.
New Music & Global Tour Extravaganza
Adding to the excitement, BIGBANG is set to release their new digital single, ‘BiiiG’, on August 19 at 6 PM KST. This highly anticipated track will precede their monumental 20th-anniversary world tour, ‘BIGBANG 2026-2027 WORLD TOUR’. The tour will ignite with three electrifying concerts at Goyang Stadium from August 21 to 23. Following these initial dates, BIGBANG will embark on a global odyssey, electrifying stages across North America, Europe, Oceania, and Asia. The tour promises a spectacular total of 33 shows across 19 cities worldwide, ensuring V.I.Ps everywhere can celebrate two decades of BIGBANG’s unparalleled legacy.
