Leader Steven expressed the group’s collective sentiment, “We’re nervous, but only because we’ve worked so hard preparing this with all the members.” Fellow member Jeongwoo echoed the emotion, adding, “I feel both jittery and excited. Just like the title ‘RUN TO YOU,’ we’re going to keep running full speed, so please keep your eyes on us.” Their dedication and passion were palpable, setting the stage for a comeback that promises to be nothing short of spectacular.

Diving Deep into “RUN TO YOU”

“RUN TO YOU” arrives eight months after their last release and is described as a powerful declaration of “the resolve to charge straight toward the one you love without ever looking back.” Jeongwoo highlighted the album’s duality, saying, “We packed both our refreshing charm and a more intense side into this album. You’ll see the AHOF you know, along with a fiercer look we haven’t shown before. We’ve grown another step, so please watch us closely.” The five-track EP features the dynamic title track, the catchy prerelease single “Sugar High,” “JUST SAY YES,” “You’re the Reason,” and “Our Story.” The title track itself is a vibrant, summer-ready anthem with an addictive melody and dynamic choreography, designed to energize listeners through life’s complex moments.

Han offered a profound insight into the title track, explaining, “The ‘you’ in the song isn’t one specific person. It’s anyone or anything you sincerely run toward, whether that’s someone you love, a dream or a goal. If you picture whatever is most precious to you, the song will hit home.” This universal message is a testament to AHOF’s evolving artistry and ability to connect with a wider audience. The album also continues the group’s compelling coming-of-age narrative. From the shaky beginnings in “WHO WE ARE” to the growing pains of “The Passage,” AHOF now sings of a youth confident in their feelings, moving forward without hesitation. Steven noted the album’s mature shift: “Unlike our previous albums, this one runs on a single, unmistakable theme — going all in. It carries a more mature, masculine appeal.” Woongki added, “This time, we wanted to express the honesty of young people racing toward their dreams.”

Charting Their Own Path: AHOF’s Journey & Goals

Since their debut in July last year, AHOF has consistently demonstrated remarkable growth. Their first EP sold an impressive 360,000 copies, followed by 380,000 for their second, both in their respective first weeks. Currently, the group is conquering stages across Asia with their first tour, “2026 AHOF 1ST TOUR: THE FIRST SPARK,” having successfully captivated fans in Seoul, Osaka, Tokyo, and Kuala Lumpur. Juwon reflected on their journey, “This past year flew by. We’ve already stacked up so many memories, and I can’t wait to see how many more good ones are ahead of us.”

Looking to the future, the members shared their aspirations for “RUN TO YOU.” JL set an ambitious goal, “I want to take our first No. 1 on a music show with this album. Every time we receive a trophy, it reminds me of what we’ve achieved together, and I want to share that precious moment with our fans once again.” Han, ever humble, expressed a simpler wish: “We received more love than we deserved with our first and second albums. Regardless of how many copies this one sells, I’ll be satisfied if people simply love the music.” With their talent, passion, and dedicated fanbase, AHOF is undoubtedly poised to achieve great things with “RUN TO YOU.”
